THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to a growing number of projects, Dematic is expanding our Belrose team. We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operator and experienced Forklift Operator for a 12 month fixed term period.

Gain more exposure to a large company that is manufacturing warehouse racking solutions, in addition our factory also assembles automated systems such as AGV (robotic forklifts) and conveyors. 

• Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Friday).

Tasks and Qualifications:

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Unload and load goods and product for trucks and containers, this includes manual handling as well as forklift truck operation

• Manage system transactions for the tasks that are being completed, receiving, put away, picking, dispatching & cycle counting

• Packing orders to the required standard; domestic, export or warehouse transfers to internal departments

• Monitor and organise storage locations within the warehouse

• Create picking list in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and using RF scanner for receiving purchase orders

• Ensure all safety requirements are met for forklift operations and working safely within the warehouse/factory

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Must have a current LF Forklift Licence

• Experience in warehousing ideally FMCG, 3PL or similar warehousing roles

• Experience with WMS and using RF scanners

• Sound computer literacy and verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills

• Good understanding of WHS requirements and safety procedures

• Ability to work in isolation and make decisions

• Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships
