Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Shelf Specialist to join our Digital Retail COE team. This role is responsible for curating and distributing high-impact content that supports retail marketing initiatives and drives brand consistency across retail channels – specifically supporting Walmart.com and select international eCommerce channels. This role specifically will partner with existing teammates to ensure that all relevant product content is properly leveraged across our retail ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least some of the following:
Content Management Systems – CMS or PIM/Dam systems such as Widen, Salsify, Syndigo, InRiver, etc.
Retail Catalogue Portals – particularly Walmart Seller Center or Retail Link, Amazon Vendor or Seller Central, or other high-profile retailers.
At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.
Essential Functions:
Digital Retail Enablement Support
Partner with Divisional Sales & Channel managers to understand retailer product priorities to determine the ‘job to be done’ on leveraging existing content or developing new content.
Partner with Divisional marketing teams to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
Own and maintain brand stores, updating on a regular cadence, pulling in existing content while also customizing per distinct best practices per retailer.
Partner with the Digital Shelf Creative Development team, as well as the PIM Solutions team to expedite the release of content to other retailers either through technical syndication or lock-step manual processes.
Collaborate with the Performance MKT/Retail Media team to increase traffic and conversion across the portfolio, with direction/prioritization from Sales/Channel leads.
Retail Product Page Analytics and Insights
Maintain monthly metrics that report organic versus paid traffic, garnering insights on our performance relative to the categories and specific competition whenever possible. Monitor core metrics include traffic, conversion, share of voice, etc. to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Become the expert on Walmart content best practices and new options, continually educating and advocating for tests.
Support the development of PIM and content syndication tools in partnership with leads from our Digital Experience team. Content mapping and experience with these tools is a plus.
Work with the Digital Retail COE Analyst to build analytics structure that can be automated whenever possible.
Stakeholder Share-outs & Collaboration
Liaise with channel and sales to gather insights and ensure content meets business needs.
Act as a brand steward, ensuring consistency across all retail-facing materials.
Manage all retailer specific content scores and accompanying reports, providing regular report outs.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, but open to those that can demonstrate a passion for digital marketing or eCommerce.
2–4 years of experience in content creation, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
Strong analytical and excel skills for diving into investigative reporting on how we can perform better.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), digital publishing tools, and/or retail catalogue portals.
Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and retail merchandising principles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
