The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

● European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)

● Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

● Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

The contract duration of VIE 24 months.

You will join the Information management department Digital in Airbus Helicopters Spain.

Airbus Helicopters' Digital department (Information Management) has launched a major project to re-insource its IT activities in Spain, titled CORE.

The objective of this project is to strengthen internal Digital teams in France and Germany, while also establishing a new structure at the Albacete University Campus. With an ambitious target of 200 to 250 employees, recruitment will take place between 2026 and 2029.

The recruitment drive covers all roles within the Digital department, ranging from developers to product owners, as well as Cybersecurity and Analytics experts. The Digital Campus building is located directly on the Albacete university grounds.

 

Your main tasks will include:

• Coordinate project management activities in collaboration with the internal project lead and facilitate project follow-up meetings.
• Produce project reporting and status updates.
• Monitor recruitment processes across France, Germany, and Spain.
• Coordinate project-related events and milestones.
• Manage project communication and internal updates.
• Manage and maintain the project’s AppScript application.
• Create project templates (meeting minutes, schedules, budget trackers).
• Organize governance bodies, including Steering Committees and Project Committees.
• Consolidate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to provide a comprehensive overview of progress.
• Identify variances (schedule, costs) before they become critical.
• Ensure reliable information reporting to Project Management/Executive leadership.
• Anticipate HR requirements (Capacity Planning) and prevent overallocation.
• Consolidate budgets, track actuals vs. forecasts, and manage budget landings.
• Assist management in project prioritization based on ROI and resource availability.
• Maintain the cross-project risk register and propose mitigation plans.
• Conduct post-project reviews (Lessons Learned) to capitalize on best practices.

 

This role will involve some travel for business (once a quarter) in France or Germany and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience: 

● Educated to degree level in project management or a related discipline.

● 2 à 4 years of experience in project management (apprenticeships and internships included )

We are recruiting Educated with a degree in Information Management with skills in project management or a related discipline. Experience in project management (apprenticeships and internships included) would be highly appreciated

● IT tools : The entire Google suite (Doc, Sheet, Slide and Appscript)

in addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

● Team spirit

● Autonomy in the project management activities 

● Adapted communication to various stakeholders around the project

● Languages need : Level (advanced) in English, Level (intermediate) en Spanish
