Thriving in dynamic environments, they anticipate challenges before they arise, connect teams effectively, and build scalable marketing operations that enable the organization to adapt and succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Drive cross-functional alignment and execution

  • Design and maintain unified operating structures that help Japan Marketing work seamlessly with global and local stakeholders.

  • Lead major cross-functional initiatives end-to-end (e.g., long-term regional strategy, GTM alignment).

  • Build frameworks, planning cadences, dashboards, and governance models that keep teams focused and accountable.

Serve as the coordination hub for Corporate / International

  • Act as the primary liaison between Japan Marketing and Corporate/International strategy, operations, and planning teams.

  • Partner closely with Finance, International Ops, and Japan Marketing functions.

  • Build transparent budget tracking and scenario planning models rooted in marketing operations realities.

Strengthen organizational effectiveness

  • Establish and refine the operating rhythm of Japan Marketing (weekly reviews, dashboards, strategy reviews).

  • Lead annual planning, OKRs, performance tracking, and cross-team communication.

  • Improve collaboration across marketing functions by enhancing workflows and reducing operational friction.

Executive communications and strategic advisory

  • Prepare executive-level materials for Corporate and Japan leadership (business reviews, performance insights, funnel and pipeline analysis).

  • Synthesize market trends, customer insights and performance data into clear, persuasive narratives that influence decision-making in partnership with Product Marketing and Customer Marketing.

  • Act as a thought partner to the Head of Japan Marketing—anticipating risks, surfacing insights, and shaping strategic decisions.
