Job Summary:

Inspect, sanitize and wash trailers while wearing proper PPE's. Maintain chemical volumes and MSDS Sheets. Work schedule is 0800 - 1700 Monday- Friday. Rotate weekend to perform fueling and temperature checks. Perform other duties required for the good of the business and as assigned by appropriate management.

Work Performed:

  • Inspect underneath trailers presented at wash bay
  • Spray bleach to sanitize
  • Use authorized cleaner to wash inside and underneath trailer and then rinse
  • Use deodorizer and fly repellent as required
  • Perform temperature checks at 0900 and 1500 Monday - Friday.
  • Complete Trailer Washing Log daily and monthly
  • Inspect drains and door seals and note damage of daily sheet
  • Work with other team members for selection of trailers for wash
  • Maintain quantities of chemicals with proper labels and MSDS Sheets
  • Maintain the pressure washer
  • At the end of shift, clean up, organize and put away
  • Assist fueling reefer units and temperature checks on weekends

Education/Training:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have a clean MVR

  • Ability to maintain physical lifting, pushing, pulling, repetitive bending, squatting, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, walking, and standing
