Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior IT Analyst, based in São Paulo (BRA) or Mumbai (India). The Senior IT Analyst will be a member of the Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) Information Technology team, responsible for delivering solutions that enhance the current Environmental, Health and Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) business processes and support Dow’s Digital Sustainability Strategy and Ambitions.
About you and this role - What you would do in this role
The successful candidate will provide functional expertise, knowledge, and support for EHS & Sustainability functions and projects, including Joint Ventures, Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Capital Investments and Small projects.
The Senior IT Analyst will work with a multi-disciplinary IT team, Business Partners, and functions to develop, deliver, and maintain innovative digital solutions and capabilities. The focus will be on customer/employee experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability, to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
Perform EHS&S business process track during projects, including requirements gathering, design, data migration, testing, and deployment.
Ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.
Collaborate with business process teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders to design and build SAP objects that meet business requirements.
Participate in the development of implementation approach and strategy, and cutover plans for the EHS&S business process area.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, related IT field or EHS&S area.
Knowledge and experience with EHS and Sustainability processes and technologies.
SAP knowledge, specifically EHS – Environment, Health and Safety management.
5 years of work experience.
Advanced English Level Skills.
Preferred Skills:
Strong people and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-management, and issue resolution skills.
Familiarity with S/4 HANA migration projects.
Understanding of EHS Product Compliance and regional regulatory requirements.
Project management experience in Agile frameworks.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge would be a plus.
Background in SAP supply chain and/or Manufacturing is a plus.
Additional notes:
The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential.
