This is a hybrid role. Upon agreement between you and your supervisor, you are entitled to a flexible arrangement where you will be able to split your time between working from the office and working remotely.

Your responsibilities:

  • Full accountability for the commercial success and operational performance of the ITP (Invoice-to-Pay) function across DACH + PL
  • Acting as a senior finance leader for the DACH + PL region with a strong focus on patient-centricity and company values: Collaborative, Proactive, Reliable, Excellent
  • Driving results through ownership of KPIs, SLAs and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing ITP Team Leads and their teams in line with agreed Service Level Agreements for assigned DACH + PL countries
  • Ensuring delivery of ITP processes in accordance with defined performance, quality and compliance standards
  • Ownership of process KPIs, performance reporting and escalation management (2nd level)
  • Monitoring and reviewing monthly process metrics together with Team Leads
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of ITP processes in cooperation with the ITP Senior Process Manager
  • Supporting and leading implementation of transformation, optimization and change initiatives (BPM, Transformation Team, ITP Process Management)
  • Ensuring timely execution of corrective actions following internal and external audits (e.g. GIA)
  • Providing expert process support during volume peaks, team lead absence or critical operational situations
  • Maintaining and continuously updating ITP processes, procedures and documentation
  • Managing country-level stakeholder relationships for DACH + PL (payment terms, payment runs, vendor issues)
  • Preparing regular updates and participating in review calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Day-to-day leadership of ITP Team Leads and indirect management of their teams
  • Setting, monitoring and reviewing performance objectives for Team Leads
  • Supporting recruitment processes for ITP Team Leads and Accountants where required
  • Driving employee engagement, motivation and development within the teams
  • Creating and monitoring individual development and annual training plans in cooperation with HR
  • Supporting leadership development of Team Leads
  • Managing performance issues, including Performance Improvement Plans, in cooperation with HR and the ITP Senior Process Manager
  • Acting as a key contact point for team members and fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performance work environment
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant FME, GBS and group policies, procedures and statutory requirements
  • Integrating corporate values and compliance standards into daily operations
  • Ensuring adherence to internal controls, audit requirements and quality standards

Our requirements:

  • Academic degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting (or equivalent qualification / experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing ITP (Invoice-to-Pay) or other core finance processes in a high-volume, complex environment
  • Minimum 3 years of people management experience, including managing Team Leads
  • Experience in Shared Services / GBS environment (min. 2 years)
  • Proven experience in managing performance against SLAs and KPIs
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS)
  • Very good knowledge of SAP
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; workflow solutions knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience in P2P / ITP process improvement and transformation projects is highly beneficial
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making capability in a dynamic, changing environment
  • High change management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong customer orientation (internal stakeholders)
