Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and well-structured documentation for our IT projects involving backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to produce technical content that supports development, deployment, and user adoption.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation, system architecture, user guides, and developer manuals.
• Work closely with backend and frontend developers to understand software architecture, workflows, and key functionalities.
• Document software components, frameworks, and integrations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Develop and update installation guides, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Translate complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand content for various audiences (developers, QA engineers, end-users).
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to document frontend interactions, usability guidelines, and design system components.
• Maintain version control of documentation and ensure updates align with software releases.
• Standardize documentation formats and ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
• Assist in creating training materials, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer in an IT, software development, or SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of backend and frontend technologies, including APIs, databases, programming languages, and frameworks.
• Familiarity with technical documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, Swagger, or Docusaurus.
• Ability to read and interpret code in Python, JavaScript, Java, or other common programming languages (not necessarily coding experience but understanding).
• Experience documenting RESTful APIs, SDKs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong research skills and the ability to collaborate with developers to gather technical information.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for managing documentation repositories.
