KYC Operations Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement within Operations team. The overall objective of this role is to lead in the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) improvement program at Citi.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Programme manage a plan for Operational Excellence for the team
- Identify operational inefficiencies and process gaps and design and implement a plan to deliver process improvements within the team
- Maintaining, testing, and improving business operations
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
- Identifying innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction
- Evaluating the performance of internal teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met
- Communicating ideas and viewpoints to senior management
- Acting as a liaison between business and risk groups
- Creating monthly performance reports
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
- Driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of equivalent experience
- Proven track record in managing Operational Excellence Programmes
- Ability to deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders
- Ability to interpret data to address business queries and tackle problems
- Proficiency in MS Excel skills and Pivot tables
- Extensive Senior Operations Management experience
- Bachelor's degree/University degree
