Who Will You Be Working With?

Join our dynamic Finance team at Locomotive Kurastyru Zauyty (LKZ) in Astana, Kazakhstan, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and integrity. You'll collaborate closely with various departments to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of our organization.

You will be located at the LKZ Plant, A139 street, Astana, Kazakhstan.

How Will You Make a Difference?

As a GAAP Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in preparing and analyzing accurate financial statements and disclosures based on actual results. You will consolidate, analyze, and report financials in compliance with reporting regulations. Your role involves resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise, guided by precedent, and understanding how your area integrates with other teams.

What Do We Want to Know About You?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP knowledge is an advantage).
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance, Big 4 firm and/or multinational companies will be advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and Russian.
  • Experience with business finance ERP systems such as HFM, Oracle, 1C is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements and disclosures based on actual results.
  • Financial Reporting: Consolidate, analyze, and report financials in compliance with reporting regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Apply acquired expertise to resolve problems, guided by established precedents.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams to ensure integration and compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in process simplification and operational excellence initiatives.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
