As a Lead Analyst Tester at FNZ, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality solutions are delivered from requirements gathering all the way through to production release. You will take ownership of your team's work, leading by example to foster a highly effective and self-sufficient project team.

In this role, you will be accountable for quality assurance, adherence to AT practices, test automation, and project KPIs. You will provide leadership and mentorship to the FNZ Analysis & Testing team, enhancing their capabilities and supporting junior members. Additionally, you will instill a culture of continuous improvement, always putting the customer first. Taking personal accountability for meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality solutions that maximise value for our customers will be a key part of your responsibilities.

What are we looking for? 

We seek candidates with a proven background in analysis or testing roles who are confident and proactive in a client-focused and delivery-driven environment. You should be able to lead a team of technical specialists providing leadership and support for the FNZ Analysis & Testing team, building capability and instilling a spirit of continuous improvement in the team.  With a focus on delivery, you will possess superior analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent organisational, administrative, and time management skills are essential, along with strong team communication skills and confidence in dealing with internal and external clients. Highly developed written and oral communication skills are also crucial.

You will also have:

  • Familiar with Relational Database concepts 
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Previous experience within a FinTech environment
  • Practical coding experience in any programming language – whether you’re a former developer or just love to code, your experience is valuable!
  • Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Dev tools and New Relic 
  • Proven ability in automation testing processes 
  • Experience in API testing, ensuring robust and reliable software
  • Superior problem-solving ability 
  • Strong background in business analysis to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions
