This Position reports to:

Production Manager


 

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will support production lines by driving continuous improvement, process stabilization, and waste elimination, acting as a facilitator between Production and support functions (Quality, Industrialization, Maintenance, HSE, IT/MES). 

This role directly contributes to performance in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, supporting both short-term operational activities and structured improvement initiatives.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Operational Production Support - Supporting production continuity by troubleshooting issues, coordinating with key functions, and contributing to daily line meetings.

  • Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement - Driving Lean initiatives through 5S implementation, Kaizen coordination, and Gemba-based process observation.

  • Industrialization and Process Changes- Supporting industrialization activities including new product phase‑ins, equipment start‑ups, layout changes, and process optimization.

  • Digitalization and Systems - Enhancing digital systems by improving data collection processes, contributing to MES logic updates, and analyzing data for operational decisions.

  • Projects and Training - Contributing to cross‑functional projects, delivering training, and promoting Lean culture across production teams.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Management, Automation, or Biomedical Engineering

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, standard work, waste reduction/MUDA)

  • Strong process analysis and structured problem-solving skills (e.g. 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Yellow Belt certification preferred

  • Up to 2 years of experience in a similar environment (lean production, manufacturing, industrial engineering) is a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of the Office package; Power BI is preferred

  • Demonstrating strong shop floor orientation, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with production teams and cross‑functional stakeholders

  • You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken
