The role aims to empower people using a person-centred approach, helping them reduce risk, build resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.

You will see clients face to face at NatWest's banks and other locations within Staffordshire.

Please note: there is support, supervision, and line management will be provided remotely. This is important to highlight for applicants seeking a team or office-based working environment.

A key aspect of the role involves working not just with individuals, but also with families and community networks to address a range of wellbeing needs. This may include physical and emotional health, employment, domestic abuse, exploitation, family relationships, and other complex factors.

Key tasks include:

  • Supporting individuals from first contact through to after-care.
  • Conducting screening, assessments, and delivering psychosocial interventions.
  • Creating and reviewing risk management and safeguarding plans.
  • Supporting access to multi-agency services, including family and community-based resources.
  • Contributing to positive outcomes around health, wellbeing, relationships, and social functioning.
  • Applying the "No Wrong Door" principle by helping people engage with other services as appropriate.
  • Responding effectively to safeguarding concerns and participating in relevant meetings (e.g., Child Protection, Adult Safeguarding, Complex Case Panels).

General Responsibilities

  • Embrace and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.
  • Maintain awareness of developments in gambling harm, substance use, and local community needs.
