InterSystems UKI have a new Graduate Intern opportunity working within an experienced Technical Services team.  This 6 to 9 month paid contract offers a fantastic opportunity to learn how a fast-paced global software business ensures that their hosted and managed services remain available, fast and secure at all times.

This is a full time role based at our office in Windsor, Berkshire and would suit an Information Technology or Computer Science Graduate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning how configure, maintain and troubleshoot PC hardware (Windows and Apple) in a process driven ITIL compliant environment
  • Learning how to manage stakeholders and provide excellent internal customer service
  • Learning about the elements of good system administration skills, focusing on Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory
  • Learning to support Apple devices MacBooks / iPads in an enterprise environment
  • Learning to configure/reconfigure computers for all employees, including software installations, network configurations, hardware integration, final testing, and migration of users’ old data onto the newly built system
  • Assisting with installing software on internal PCs as needed by various InterSystems departments Assisting with reporting
  • Generally supporting the Technical Services team

InterSystems is willing to provide training in all the above areas, but you would already need to be proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, and have strong written English language skills.  Some development and/or scripting experience would be of value.

Qualifications:

  • This role is intended for recent or soon to be graduates from a Bachelor’s, Master’s
  • Interdisciplinary academic work in IT, Computer Science or Engineering subjects preferred
  • Eligible to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated initiative through academic excellence, extracurricular, or work experiences
  • Collaborative team mindset.
  • Flexible demeanour in an ever-changing work environment

This is a 6 to 9 month paid contract, starting anytime during the year. It's a full time role based at our Windsor office 5 days per week.  After the program there is a possibility for a full-time permanent role.
