About the Role

As Associate Planner you will directly influence your buying office’s ability to meet financial plans and ensure customer satisfaction. You will build brand category plans from the bottom up, analyze historical data to forecast trends and capture them through inventory deployment strategies. You will work in multiple seasons at a time, offer insights into current results and recommend future actions to drive profitable sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Work collaboratively with the merchandising team for your category of business to provide financial plans and projections for your product assortments

  • Build, update and maintain Enterprise Planning (EP), KP2 web-based application and Vendor Performance Summaries (VPS)

  • Update Open-to-Buy (OTB) after the first pass is completed

  • Vendor and Brand management

  • Form and recap population

  • Manage inventory flow; push, cancel and chase

  • KPIs include: Sales, Margin and Turn

  • Partner with teams such as merchants, product development, supply chain, space planning and digital to drive overall strategy and results 

  • Coach others in more junior roles to evaluate weekly replenishment and inventory flow strategies

  • Additional tasks may be assigned
