Target Range:

$68,000.00 /Yr. - $81,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

About This Job

Axos Bank is seeking a Deposit Systems Analyst who is responsible for maintaining, administering, and optimizing the Bank’s deposit system platforms. This role collaborates closely with Deposit Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure system accuracy, availability, and regulatory compliance, while supporting product configurations, system enhancements, operational risk controls, and cross functional projects impacting deposit systems.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex system challenges, and is passionate about building strong operational foundations for banking products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update deposit system parameters, including product configurations, fee structures, limits, and account settings.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to implement system enhancements, ensuring proper testing and documentation.
  • Ensure all changes follow Bank change management protocols and audit requirements.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for deposit products and core system behavior.
  • Troubleshoot transactional, configuration, and access issues escalated by Deposit Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with business partners on new product rollouts, ensuring systems support required functionality.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of system exceptions, parameter discrepancies, and risk alerts.
  • Provide documentation and responses for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain controls supporting escheatment, loss reporting, and quality assurance review processes.
  • Participate in deposit platform upgrades, new feature releases, bank acquisition integrations, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for system changes.
  • Track milestones and deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Serve as liaison between Deposit Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, and vendors to ensure requirements are met.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on system behaviors, product impacts, and best practices.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of system exceptions, parameter discrepancies, and risk alerts.
  • Maintain controls supporting escheatment, loss reporting, and quality assurance review processes.
  • Participate in deposit platform upgrades, new feature releases, bank acquisition integrations, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and execute test scripts for system changes.
  • Serve as liaison between Deposit Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, and vendors to ensure requirements are met.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on system behaviors, product impacts, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Banking operations or systems experience (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of deposit products and core banking systems.
  • Experience with JHA/Silverlake, Synergy, or other enterprise deposit platforms.
  • Familiarity with operational risk, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex system behavior, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Experience in cross functional project participation and system testing.
