Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role 

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Strategic Partnerships and Marketing, the Director of Marketing is tasked with leading Compass Health Center's marketing initiatives, focusing on leveraging marketing analytics and technology platforms to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and patient/referent engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of integrated digital marketing, consumer behavior analysis, brand storytelling, patient experience strategy, agility in marketing operations, strategic leadership, ROI-focused marketing analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Our dedicated operations teams work behind the scenes to bring our shared mission to life. Each department delivers their own set of strengths which empower our clinicians to focus on their expertise, and ultimately perform the meaningful work that we do.  

What You'll Do:

  • Integrated Digital Marketing Expertise: Develop and execute campaigns across digital channels, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative and customer journey.
  • Patient Behavior Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics tools to gain insights into consumer preferences and adapt marketing strategies to meet evolving customer expectations.
  • Brand Storytelling and Content Creation: Craft narratives that resonate with target audiences, emphasizing exceptional writing abilities to articulate the brand’s values and mission.
  • Patient Experience (CX) Strategy: Innovate and optimize CX across all touchpoints, driving patient satisfaction, engagement, and advocacy.
  • Agility in Marketing Operations: Adapt marketing strategies and campaigns swiftly in response to market changes and technological advancements.
  • Strategic Leadership and Team Development: Set a clear vision, empower the marketing team, and cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • ROI-Focused Marketing Analytics: Make data-driven decisions to optimize ROI and justify marketing spend.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Influence: Work alongside various departments to create unified market strategies, leveraging the strengths of the entire organization.

Who You Are:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a senior marketing role, with a proven track record in healthcare or mental health industry marketing.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in integrated digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
    • Strong analytical skills for consumer behavior analysis and marketing analytics.
    • Exceptional writing abilities for effective brand storytelling and content creation.
    • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, preferably HubSpot, Dynamics, and Power BI.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and develop a marketing team.
    • Agility to respond to changing market conditions and business needs.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence strategic directions.

Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP). Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in our onsite facilities or through our flourishing virtual programming. Compass fills a critical gap between outpatient and inpatient care through an intermediate level of Behavioral Healthcare.
