Position Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Coordinator II is responsible for coordinating the activities and messaging of the Bauer Leaders Academy. This includes providing general administrative support to the Bauer Leaders Academy senior leadership team, supporting the development and delivery of activities and events, and maintaining the physical and virtual presence of the Bauer Leaders Academy.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the staff member principally responsible for the administrative operations of the Bauer Leaders Academy. This includes (a) maintaining the Academy’s physical office space; (b) providing administrative support for the senior leadership team (e.g., calendar management, notetaking and recordkeeping); and, (c) supporting necessary budgetary activities (e.g., reimbursements, financial record keeping).  
  • Supports the marketing and communications functions of the Bauer Leaders Academy. This includes (a) assisting in the development of marketing materials (e.g., presentations, documents, multimedia productions); (b) maintaining the Academy’s virtual presence (e.g., website, social media); and (c) developing creative ideas for how to tell the Academy’s story and accomplishments.
  • Provides administrative and logistical support for the Bauer Leaders Academy’s events and activities. This includes (a) coordinating with stakeholders internal to WashU; (b) managing relationships with vendors and external service providers; and (c) sourcing and managing contributions from faculty, staff, and alumni.
  • Performs other activities required to support the achievement of the Bauer Leaders Academy’s mission and objectives.

Salary Range

$21.17 - $32.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
