Purpose of the Position
As a Key Account Manager Oncology, you will be the face of our oncology portfolio in the Varna region, managing relationships with diagnostic physicians—including breast surgeons, ENT specialists, and urologists. Your mission is to deliver a highly effective customer experience, ensuring we provide real value to patients, payers, and physicians, and to position our company as a trusted partner in the diagnostic pathway of oncology care.

You will be part of our Bulgarian Oncology Business Unit, reporting to the Associate Director, Field Operations Oncology Bulgaria. You'll join a diverse team of 12 professionals with backgrounds ranging from pharmacy and medicine to biology and beyond. Working alongside our Oncology Brand & Commercial Management and Medical teams, you'll operate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment where collaboration, scientific excellence, and patient impact are at the heart of everything we do. Expect to spend approximately 60% of your time in the field, building meaningful relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Drive Business Results — Achieve and exceed performance targets and KPIs within assigned accounts, while managing promotional budgets effectively.
Develop Account & Business Plans — Prioritize accounts, set strategic goals, and evaluate progress to maximize commercial impact.
Manage Tenders — Assess tender opportunities, craft competitive offers, and collaborate with stakeholders to shape tender outcomes.
Build Key Relationships — Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with key decision-makers, including hospital directors, department heads, pharmacists, and health committees.
Deliver Expert Customer Engagement — Anticipate customer needs and provide approved clinical and therapeutic solutions, leveraging deep knowledge of oncology standards of care, companion diagnostics, and emerging trends.
Execute Marketing Strategy — Implement and evaluate brand strategies locally, actively contributing insights and best practices to the Brand Team.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration — Initiate and coordinate projects across functions to address customer and business needs within your accounts.
Uphold Ethical Standards — Ensure all activities comply with local laws, company SOPs, and the highest ethical principles.
Your Profile
Experience — Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry; oncology experience is a strong advantage.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking — Proven ability to develop business plans, identify opportunities, and translate insights into action.
Relationship Builder — Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across diverse customer types.
Self-Driven & Collaborative — Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently while thriving in cross-functional team settings.
Language — Fluent in Bulgarian & English (conversational and written).
