We’re looking for a strategic and innovative compensation leader to join our team as a Senior Manager of Compensation Programs and Strategies. This individual contributor role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide compensation initiatives that support our evolving business and workforce. 

 

In this new role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex projects that influence our compensation philosophy, processes, guidelines, and systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design pay programs that are fiscally responsible, competitive, and aligned with the changing healthcare and regulatory landscape. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead projects that support sales compensation programs, including:  

  • Job framework revisions 

  • Compensation benchmarking 

  • Incentive plan design coordination 

  • Technology deployment 

  • Partner with Compensation peers, vendor partners, sales leadership, and HR Technology/Shared Services to design and deliver impactful solutions 

  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in data resolution, system setup, and ongoing maintenance 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Strong experience in compensation strategy and program design, with a focus on sales incentive plans 

  • Ability to manage complex, enterprise-wide projects and influence stakeholders at all levels 

  • Expertise in data analysis and system management, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement 

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment 

  • Effective communication with multiple stakeholders throughout various stages of work, ensuring clarity and awareness of decisions 

  • A candidate who is adept at using data analysis to drive story telling 

 

Requirements: 

  • 7+ leading and delivering complex projects, end to end 

  • 7+ years Excel modeling  

  • 5+ years of compensation experience  

 

Preferred: 

  • Job leveling and framework design and implementation strongly desired 

  • Workday business requirement design experience 

  • Experience with Sales Performance Management tools (e.g., Varicent, Xactly, SAP, etc.)  

  • Attention to detail, excellent status tracking and proactive follow up  

  • Advanced experience in MS PPT, able to communicate difficult concepts in a succinct way, comfortable presenting to large and diverse audiences with confidence 

  • Advanced technical and quantitative skills, including experience using and manipulating large amounts of data in MS Excel 

  • Ability to take on complex problems and applies sophisticated thought to identify creative solutions 

  • Effectively communicates difficult concepts and influences others to embrace an  

 

 Education:

  • Bachelors degree or equal years of working experience may be considered

 

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
