MF DB2 System Programmer

Job Description

• Installation, customization and maintenance of DB2 for z/OS and related products.
• Sound knowledge in SMPE
• Excellent knowledge of relational database concepts of DB2 in z/OS.
• Proficiency in using DB2 tools from IBM and other vendors.
• Good knowledge of performance & tuning, database sizing, system support, security, and documentation.
• Good experience with software maintenance.
• Knowledge in planning and designing databases.
• Good Knowledge in Disaster Recovery
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
• Ability to perform diagnostics and perform RCA [Root cause analysis].
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Should be a team player with excellent communication and technical skills.
• Provide a 7/24 service on-call to clients.
