Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Lead Center Engineering to define, manage and update the Ingenieering topics project management schedules.
• Attends and holds the necessary meetings among all support functions to discuss program related issues with the aim of meeting project timing
• Assures that all necessary process and tooling design information is available (part drawings, testing specifications, tooling drawings, molds, etc.).
• Coordinates plant specific (internal) engineering functions in order to meet projet targets.
• Attends the APQP meetings to expose and/or leave in consideration the internal and external engineering topics on every phase of the project.
• Participates with APQP team to develop Quality documents.
• Liaison to customer engineering and internal engineering process functions for project control.
• Coordinates and follows up with Lead center engineering and Launch manager the performing of design validation testing.
• Manages, controls and reports the results on all APQP phases where engineering department is the responsible.
• Identifies and reacts to program delays requesting adjustments schedules accordinly.

Qualifications:

• Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering or similar.
• Fluent English desirable.
• Manufacturing process definition for costing (Process Engineering Maps), Production processes with lean methodology
• Manufacturing process principles (Molding, Assembly, Bonding of rubber to plastics, vulcanization)
• Manufacturing and management process steps (process design, specification book and process release),
• Designing of tools and auxiliary equipment, knowledge about tooling manufacturing, Tools and tooling maintenance.
• IATF, Core Tools, PFMEA, Drawing interpretation
