The DIGMOD Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Program Finance Analyst, Lead to support our Managed Services Division (MSD). This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the managed IT mission by building a portfolio of repeatable offerings to support the enterprise as never before.  As a key member of the program team, you will work directly with the program managers to help define each program's financial goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial forecasts, reports, and analysis.
  • Work closely with other functional areas on financial related elements, while managing a program's general ledger and monitoring a program's cash flow.
  • Help develop and drive financial forecasts and EACs; manage subcontractor and analyze the programs revenue and costs.
  • Help program managers identify programmatic risk and opportunities that will impact program financials while recommending cost reductions and ways to mitigate risk.
  • Month-end closings and variance/trend analyses.
  • Propose and implement project/program improvements.
  • Cash management to Inventory analysis as well as timely submittal of invoices, collections, and unbilled reduction.
  • Deliverables: Estimate at Completion (EACs), Quarterly Financial Status Reviews (QFSR), monthly and quarterly business reviews (IPR), and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, financial analysis, and general accounting.
  • Must be able to extract data from multiple sources and effectively summarize the current financial position of the program.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. 
  • This position requires a problem solver who can pull together knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analysis of multifaceted, challenging issues, and use those analyses to find solutions.
  • Must be committed to customer service, be well organized, be able to plan and prioritize assignments, and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional.
  • Have the ability to work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong background in the entire Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, particularly in the development of formulas, v-lookups, and macros.
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical skills.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain clearance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as:  CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, and Insight.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
