What to expect on this role
As the Senior Payments Product Manager, your primary responsibility will be effectively to developing and managing a portfolio of payment products for the travel and airline industry. You will work closely with sales and engineering teams to define, develop, and launch new products and features that meet the trends and compete with others in the travel and airline industry.
Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
Define a strategy and develop a roadmap for payment, with a focus on unlocking future platform capabilities and ensuring a seamless customer purchase experience within the travel and airline industry.
Identify and prioritize highest value user problems and use cases, to unlock maximum business and customer value.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, marketing, sales, and customer success, to prioritize and launch new products and features.
Create product requirements and specifications, including user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure product development aligns with the product vision and requirements.
Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.
Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize product performance.
Coordinate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party solutions into the products.
Collaborate with other product managers to ensure product integration and alignment with other products and services.
Create, maintain and deliver a prioritized backlog of items to improve customer experience and drive value.
Drive teams and activity towards achievement of specific growth objectives.
Keep all interested parties informed of plans and status across the product development process.
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
Possess a minimum of 5 years in Product Management.
A deep understanding of delivery in the payments space for a global consumer facing retail business with focus on travel and airline industry.
Strong understanding of payment processing, payment security, and compliance requirements in the travel and airlines industry.
Familiarity with global payments regulations (US, UK, EU), and a curiosity in emerging technologies.
Delivery-focus, with extensive experience in executing a roadmap and delivering measurable business value.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, quickly able to grasp concepts and untangle complex problems.
Experience in and comfort with collaborating with related disciplines, such as engineering, design, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
Ability to work closely with the technical team and understand technical design terminology.
Have full working proficiency in English.
