About Us - Cardiology Unit
Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West
Cardiology is a fast-paced, high-energy, procedurally driven unit caring for patients with cardiac or vascular ailments
45-bed unit focused on “anything and everything HEART!”
Bedside care is delivered by a team of high-quality nursing staff consisting of Registered Nurses, New Graduate Nurses, Unit Techs and Unit Secretaries
What You’ll Do
Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.
Requirements
1.AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
2.Currently enrolled in RN or LPN nursing program and have successfully completed first semester of nursing courses.
3.If a CNA license was held prior to starting nursing program, the employee may be considered for a Student Assistant program.
4.Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
5.NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
