Job Description:

The person hired for the position of Treasury Specialist - Payments Operations will be a member of the Payments COE – EMEA & APAC team. 
This role will be responsible for processing manual payments for various 3M businesses, ensure compliance in performing daily activities, and perform issue resolution for payment rejection.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Analyst will be part of a team working on:
  • Timely and accurate execution of payment transactions and fund transfers
  • Issue resolution for payment rejection
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders across functions
  • Operate process controls and highlights potential defects
  • Perform daily activities always in accordance with legal requirements, internal regulation compliance
  • Perform adhoc responsibilities as assigned by team leader
  • Approving payments in the bank platforms

• Accurate and compliant execution of activities in alignment with policies, segregation of duties, global financial standards and procedures, and SOX controls.
• Financial analysis in support of treasury objectives.
• Continuous improvements across treasury business processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor level university/college degree in finance or management areas.  Minimum of 3-6 years relevant working experience in Account Payable or Treasury departments
