What You Will Get To Do:           

SS&C is searching for a skilled Manager, Field Services to lead technical support operations and infrastructure delivery at our Melbourne site. You will oversee desktop systems, AV/VC setups, and inventory management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.

• Provide day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure and desktop systems
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, end user equipment, video conferencing and network issues
• Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security
• Communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel
• Recommend hardware and software solutions, including acquisitions and upgrades
• Participate in IT and infrastructure development projects
• Conduct training programs for basic and specialised applications
• Lead and supervise a small team of field technicians across multiple sites
• Coordinate department activities and advise cross-functional teams
• Supervise inventory and AV/VC delivery for Melbourne site

What You Will Bring:

• Master’s degree with 4+ years, Bachelor’s with 6+ years, or High School with 8+ years of related experience
• Proven leadership in technical support and infrastructure delivery
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to make decisions within company policy to meet business objectives
• Experience establishing procedures and recommending policy changes
