We are seeking an experienced  Senior Information Operations Planner/Assistant Program Manager to join our team that works onsite at McDill AFB in Florida.

Essential Duties:

  • Support US Central Command with operational planning and deconfliction with a focus on tactical campaigns. 

  • Will work coordinating with staff elements from the COCOM to the Joint Staff, so need to understand the nexus between intelligence and operations in planning.

  • Brief senior DoW officers and planners providing advice on the availability of intelligence assets in the theater’s areas of operations and the impact on planning.

  • Work closely with intelligence community planners and advise them on the state-of-play with COCOM operational planning.

  • Responsible for maintaining an established coordination process with the potential of incorporating new elements in a fast-paced, dynamic planning environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to undergo a CI poly, if required

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Bachelors’ degree and 8 years’ experience supporting planning, staffing, or coordination efforts in support of military requirements or Masters’ degree and 6 years’ experience supporting planning, staffing, or coordination efforts in support of military requirements. 12 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.  

  • Experience supporting senior staff or officers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 years’ experience supporting planning, staffing, or coordination efforts in support of military requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with the Department of War or Intelligence Community (IC) in operational planning at the staff level.

  • Previous military headquarters staff or IC experience

  • Previous joint planning experience

  • Experience supporting Military or IC operational planning

  • Experience supporting operational planning in support of military requirements

  • Experience briefing senior US military officials

  • Familiarity with DoD Joint Planning Process

  • Team builder, collaborator, effective communicator, capacity to manage senior level engagements

  • Ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints

  • Able to provide direction to determine priorities to achieve goals

Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
