Mental Health Clinician-Part Time

Division/Program:

Acacia Mental Health Rehabilitation Center

Starting Compensation:

30.97 - 37.16 USD per Hour

Working Location:

Redwood City: Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (In-person position)

Working Hours/Shift:

PT, Sundays and Wednesdays, 16 hours per week, AM shift

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

  • Master’s degree in a social science field required, plus two (2) years of experience working in a behavioral health field
  • BBS registration as an AMFT, ASW, or APCC, or Psychology Assistant; BBS licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist
  • Valid California Driver's License

NOTE: Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

Responsible for conducting initial assessment and developing and updating plans of care; lead admission and discharge planning process and provide therapeutic services.

Division/Program Overview:

  • MHRC is a 16 bed, inpatient program that provides intensive support and rehabilitative services. 
  • The individuals served are 18-64 years old with mental health struggles that have necessitated placement in a state hospital or other intensive behavioral health facility. 
  • Comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services are provided by a multidisciplinary team. 
  • The team supports individuals in developing the skills to become self- sufficient and increase levels of independence and functioning
