Title:

Lead Cost Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor, forecast, control, and report project costs.
• Develop and implement all routine cost reports, regularly review cost reports with budget holders to ensure understanding, update estimates, and discuss problem areas.
• Support financial processes as required, including contract progress invoicing, payments, cash flows, etc.
• Develop and provide project variances, trending, analysis of expenditures, and completion reports.
• Review project costs incurred by category, calculate future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates, and risk analysis.

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in any Engineering Discipline.
• Minimum +10 years of cost management experience, with at least 5 years of lead cost experience within the Oil and Gas business.
• Thorough knowledge of cost budgeting, monitoring, forecasting, and cost performance indicators.
• Proactive and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP will be an added advantage.
