We are currently seeking a Analyst - Marketing Budget to join our Marketing Production & Operations team based in our New York, New York office.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Budget Management for six divisions: Brand Creative, Production, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing and Events Marketing 

  • Month end close processing, including monthly accruals reporting variance commentary 
  • Monthly general ledger reconciliation process 
  • Yearly budgeting and quarterly reforecasting 
  • Track ongoing projects, contracts and payments 
  • Marketing project management across aspects of media planning, digital and/or production 
  • Analysis of Media Spend versus actual affidavits 
  • Initiate deal memos and tracking them through the system to prevent delays 
  • Enter invoices into internal payment system 
  • Interact with vendors and accounting regarding status of accounts payable 
  • Support Activations/Events Marketing team with monthly department credit card reconciliation. 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Two to three years experience in accounting or finance 
  • Bachelors degree in business or related field 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, with special emphasis on Excel using linked tabs, formulas and pivot tables 
  • Excellent mathematical skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Strong organizational skills   
  • Public Company experience preferred 
  • Experience with Oracle a plus 

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 to 75,000 commensurate with experience.
