Logistics Responsible & Quantity Surveyor Scope

  • Logistics - follows and monitors the project/company’s Logistics strategy, ensures that the products are stored, handled and made available to the Project in a correct and traceable way.

He/she collaborates with the Supply Chain and Installation departments to ensure all related operations (e.g. shipping, delivery, packaging, storage) are done in time and respecting the safety standards.

  • Quantity Surveyor - prepare estimates and costs of the work and when the project is in progress, keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.
  • Location: Constanta, Valu lui Traian

Key Logistics responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product labeling, storage, handling and distribution on site
  • Registers in the ERP all the part movements
  • Keeps an accurate record of the in and out for the allocated warehouse / project
  • Identifies process blockages and implements solutions in a timely manner
  • Resolves issues that come up (e.g. problems with the handling equipment, with the warehouse or with the shipments)
  • Reports KPI for Logistics (for the allocated warehouse/project)
  • Manage and minimize the risks that could affect or interrupt the Logistics process
  • Respects safety guidelines in all aspects of the Logistics (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
  • Respects legal requirements and standards in Logistics

Key Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:

  • review drawings and the Contract Documents for measurement purposes;
  • calculate quantities and types of resources related to projects;
  • calculate the cost of projects;
  • assess progress from measurement records;
  • prepare Payment Statements for settlement of the performed works;
  • prepare unit prices in detail;
  • prepare written reports;
  • register data and analysis;
  • extensively use a computer for calculations;
  • analyze and keep tracking of the executed works by subcontractors and suppliers;
  • assess and register the invoices issued by the subcontractors/suppliers and related supporting
  • documents;
  • collaborate with the EPC’s quantity surveyor/responsible for cost recording and for Interim
  • Payment Application issuance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Good proficiency in Romanian
  • Good level of English language
  • 3+ years of related experience (as a Warehouse Manager or in similar field)
  • Driving licence B category
  • Previous experience working with ERP SW (Oracle, SAP, etc)
  • MS Excel good level
  • Thorough understanding and work experience with Logistics concepts regarding inventory control, stock management, shipping/receiving, warehouse maintenance

  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving
  • Authorised and experienced in using forklifts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
