Job Description​

The Clinical Resource Nurse assists the manager in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the patient care unit. Serves as a positive professional role model, exhibiting clinical leadership and decision-making skills. Acts as a resource for maintaining departmental records, scheduling, staff development and other special projects.

Facilitates coordination of patient care with physicians, coordinators and one of the following teams:

Educator for the OR

This RN will staff in OR cases 50% of the time with dedicated office time. This RN will also be responsible for call shifts.

This position requires a BSN. This position is scheduled 7 am until 3:15 pm Monday-Friday.

Saint Luke’s Hospital is a primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, which includes a physician residency program.

Applicable Experience:

3-5 years

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Bachelor's Degree
