The Revenue Accounting Team holds key responsibilities for worldwide revenue, contract reviews, and has ownership of rebate programs, including claims processing.
The Senior Revenue Accountant role is a highly visible position within the Revenue Accounting team. This role is expected to utilize technical accounting expertise to support revenue processes, including collaborating with business functions to provide valuable information for critical decision making.
This role will support the monthly accounting cycle close process, including review of revenue transactions for appropriate revenue treatment, support external and internal audit, and lead various process improvements and system transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities
Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of footnote disclosures
Support revenue contract review process, perform technical accounting research, and provide accounting guidance to business partners
Manage the calculation of revenue program offerings and oversee the claims process
Manage customer return activities and product service issues
Collaborate with business stakeholders in the development of analytics and revenue reporting
Partner with cross-functional business partners to support special projects including automation and system implementation to enhance operational efficiencies
Ensure revenue related internal controls are performed and documented appropriately
About You
Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
Strong accounting and analytical skills, including the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations
Passionate for innovation and continuous improvement of systems and processes
What Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related discipline
CPA, Big 4 experience preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and revenue roles in high tech or similar industries
Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606
Experience working with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel
