I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for a Senior Java Developer in Colombia to join our team, collaborating on a project in the Media sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Create and implement RESTful APIs.
- Work with cloud services, preferably AWS.
- Conduct unit and integration tests using frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, Karate, and Jest.
- Utilize modern CI/CD tools and practices for build/deployment/testing/logging/monitoring, such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate in an agile environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Requirements for this challenge:
- Good knowledge of Core Java, object-oriented programming principles, and microservices architecture design.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of agile development processes and practices.
- Excellent communication in English (advanced level).
Differentials:
- Experience with monitoring tools like Kibana and NewRelic.
- Knowledge of other testing practices and additional frameworks.
