Client driven with an innovation mindset, this role partners closely with our both Regional and BU teams  

to take the leadership role on distribution training, across SL BUs.  

 

The role reports to Head, Distribution Excellence Asia and is based in the Asia Regional Office in Hong Kong.

    • Good written and verbal English communication skills. 

    • Solid financial and numeric skills 

    • Strong problem solving skill, coordination and able to work under minimum supervision. 

    • Pro-active, discipline, strong follow up, attentive to detail, ability to multi-task. 

    • Understanding on distribution management and agency sales key metrics to deliver sales and maximize VNB for BUs 

    • Able to understand the complexity in organization structure and culture in various countries and to handle the communication and issues in appropriate manners.

  • Education

  • University graduate in business or related curriculum
  • Experience

    • At least 5 years relevant experience in working with digital training principles and in building regional roadmaps 

    • Prior insurance distribution training and able to develop standalone compensation models for all distribution channels 

    • Understand distribution and insurance products 

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

    • Set regional training strategy, update brighter academy (SL regional training playbook) and build regional e-learning platform to achieve quality. 

    • Develop learning communities with LBUs and collaborate with country training heads on implementation of the Brighter academy, programs and frameworks including timelines for changes. 

    • Perform gap analysis and work closely with Agency Distribution Team Leads, training heads to link business and learning objectives of the learning programs that support the local business unit’s and our distribution partners and agencies’ capability building needs. 

    • Design learning experiences that are relevant to program’s purpose, compelling to decision makers and efficient in its use of resources. 

    • Develop in partnership with LBUs Digital training strategies.
