Marmon is now seeking a dynamic and strategically-minded Workday Innovation and Analytics Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and drive innovation in Workday and related technologies through rigorous project management methodologies. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Workday, HR and Finance processes, and a proven track record of leading complex, high-stakes technical projects from inception to completion.
Additionally, this role will oversee the Workday reporting and analytics function, managing a team of analysts to deliver high-quality, data-driven insights. The successful candidate will not only be a subject matter expert but a methodical leader capable of implementing structured workflows to ensure project transparency, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Strategic Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of innovative Workday solutions, applying formal project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) to ensure scalable and efficient business processes
- Methodology Governance: Establish and maintain project governance standards for the Workday roadmap, ensuring that all initiatives follow a structured lifecycle of requirements gathering, testing (UAT), and post-go-live support
- Cross-Functional Portfolio Management: Partner with HR and Finance leadership to prioritize a portfolio of strategic initiatives, including system integrations and automation, while managing resource allocation and competing deadlines
- Roadmap Execution: Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for Workday and related technologies, ensuring that technical milestones align strictly with broader organizational business objectives
- Complex Project Delivery: Lead and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, utilizing project management tools and best practices to track progress, mitigate risks, and report on project health to executive stakeholders
- Stakeholder & Change Management: collaborate with key stakeholders to identify optimization opportunities, ensuring that all system changes are accompanied by robust documentation and change management strategies to drive user adoption
- Innovation & Trend Analysis: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in HR/Finance, performing cost-benefit and impact analyses to guide investment decisions
- Advanced Data Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for effective data analysis, defining company-wide metrics and data standards to ensure a "single source of truth"
- Analytics Implementation: Select, configure, and implement enterprise-grade analytics solutions and business intelligence tools to transform raw data into actionable executive dashboards

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Leadership: Experience managing a team of analysts and external consultants within a project-based environment
- Analytical Rigor: Strong understanding of reporting best practices and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Workday Expertise: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Workday and related technologies, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that meet complex business requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Workday, HR and Finance processes, and emerging technologies, including integrations, automation, and reporting/analytics
- Project Management Mastery: Strong project management skills, including experience with standardized methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc.), with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality solutions in a timely manner
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
- Certifications: Workday certification in HCM and/or Financials is preferred
- Change Management: Proven experience in change management, ensuring successful transition and adoption of new system features or process improvements
Pay Range:
133,333.34 - 200,000.00
