ROLE OVERVIEW:

Are you ready to take the helm of one of our most transformative projects? As the Director of Global ERP Program Management, you’ll spearhead project execution of our ambitious ERP implementation. Get ready to inspire, lead, and drive change on a global scale! This role is part of our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and reports directly into the VP, Strategic Business Transformation and Execution Excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project management of our ERP assessment, selection, and roll-out, ensuring PM standards and methodologies are followed, resources allocated, and stakeholders communicated with. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and technical subject matter experts to build execution playbooks for the project, drive execution of activities, monitor ongoing progress, and ensure that the direction is continuously aligned to Greif's strategic objectives and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in revolutionizing our operations through the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of our global ERP implementation project, including driving the business case creation and value tracking initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of top talent from across 30 countries, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence while ensuring strong quality assurance standards are maintained. 
  • Partner with C-suite executives and key stakeholders to align our ERP strategy with our overarching business objectives and drive maximum impact, including overseeing procurement processes such as RFPs, SOWs, and MSPs. 
  • Harness your consulting expertise and business acumen to navigate complex organizational dynamics, influence stakeholders, and overcome obstacles with finesse. 
  • Craft and execute a methodical roadmap for success, from meticulous planning to flawless execution, ensuring that every milestone is met and every challenge conquered. 
  • Apply a design thinking mindset to ensure that user needs are at the forefront of our ERP solution, driving simplicity, efficiency, and usability. 
  • Champion effective change management strategies to guide colleagues through the transformation process, fostering a culture of openness, empowerment, and resilience. 
  • Ensure comprehensive communication plans to keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned throughout the ERP implementation journey. 
  • Ensure colleagues are properly trained and equipped to leverage the new ERP system effectively, and provided ongoing support and resources as needed. 
  • Drive the documentation of processes and best practices to promote consistency, efficiency, and knowledge sharing across the organization. 
  • Foster strong adoption of the ERP solution through a caring and collaborative approach, prioritizing empathy, support, and engagement. 
  • Champion a people-first approach to project management, empowering team members, fostering a culture of ownership, and celebrating victories along the way. 
  • Embrace a spirit of continuous improvement, driving innovation, and seizing opportunities to push the boundaries of what's possible in ERP transformation. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a remote setting, collaborating with remote and global team members across multiple time zones to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; MBA and/or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM) preferred. 
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience leading large-scale global projects in a complex organizational environment, preferably ERP programs within manufacturing or industrial sectors. 
  • Proven track record in consulting at top-tier firms (e.g., Big Four) is preferred, with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, methodical execution, and driving transformative change.

  • Methodical approach to project management, with a focus on establishing clear goals, rigorous planning, quality assurance, and systematic execution to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with a knack for bringing people together and inspiring them to achieve greatness.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $ 185,000.00 to $ 225,000.00 per year. The base pay offered for this position may vary based on market data and other factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may be eligible for a short-term incentive in addition to base pay.
