As a part of the Transformation and standardization journey within Citi Core Accounts, we are looking to hire a strong Scrum Master with prime responsibility of managing multiple scrum teams and to steer it to success by navigating through the complexity of delivering software in large & cross-functional environment.  

 

Role Description: 

 

  • The role is of Scrum master for teams that will be responsible for development of Services as part of DDA Transformation Program 

  • Participate in Program Increment planning meetings with product managers and other scrum teams to prioritize the features to be considered in the next program increment (PI) planning cycle. 

  • Assists the Scrum Team in communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery. 

  • Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments. 

  • Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies. 

  • Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, velocity, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity. 

  • Manage the overall cost, schedule, and performance of the teams. 

  • Proactively notify RTE of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns. 

  • Compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent 

  • 12+ years of experience in IT of which 8-10  years ‘of experience in Banking projects  

 

Skill Requirement: 

  • Proven, prior experience as Scrum Master with experience to manage multiple teams. 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft projects, JIRA and other PM tools as per industry standards 

  • Demonstrated Scrum Master experience in organizing, planning and executing projects from conception through implementation. Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment. 

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff. 

  • Ability to easily build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization. 

  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams. 

  • Broad range of project management and leadership skills. 

  • Proven ability to balance concurrent activities. 

 

Certifications: 

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent. 

  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification or equivalent. 

  • SAFe Agilist or Equivalent
