Summary We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, web services, and databases. The role includes backend architecture, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions in an Azure DevOps environment. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend applications using Java, REST APIs, JBoss, and PostgreSQL - Design and operate client-server and web services applications - Apply DevOps knowledge to manage development and deployment in Azure environments - Manage database architecture, development, and administration using PostgreSQL - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, applications, and databases - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver solutions - Create and maintain technical documentation including application architecture and user manuals Required Skills & Technical Expertise - Strong backend development experience with Java, REST, and JBoss - Experience with database management and administration (PostgreSQL) - Understanding of DevOps culture and experience with Azure environments - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for backend systems - Excellent collaboration and communication skills - Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
