Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in e-commerce, brand marketing, or merchandising, with exposure to vendor management systems, digital merchandising, and online marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Job Summary

Support supplier online performance by identifying opportunities in product assortment and site experience through data analysis and market insights. Partner with merchants, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support content optimization, project planning, and initiatives that drive traffic, conversion, and brand growth.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Analyzes customer behavior, product data, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities that enhance the online experience and support the development of strategic roadmaps and project plans that drive brand growth.
  • Assists with the execution of product content and site optimizations, including product attributes, descriptions, digital assets, search experience, brand pages, and cross-merchandising.
  • Monitors and reports on the impact of optimizations and assortment opportunities through regular tracking of key metrics.
  • Prepares materials and participates in presentations with suppliers, merchants, and internal stakeholders to share findings and align on next steps.
  • Collaborates with merchants, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle initiatives and brand performance improvements.
  • Conducts competitive and market research to support content strategy, identify industry trends, and inform recommendations for brand improvement.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
  • Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
  • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
