Position Summary

The Advancement Coordinator for the Grateful Patient and Faculty Engagement team is a critical role for the success of Medical Advancement development efforts, serving as the touchpoint for a broad range of daily activities, projects, and initiatives. This position requires great discretion in communicating with faculty, donors and/or volunteers, as well as handling confidential and sensitive information regarding prospects, donors, faculty, and staff.

Position responsibilities include high-level project management, in-depth technology usage, as well as internal and external relationship development and management. The Advancement Coordinator effectively increases the gift officers’ ability to focus time and resources on direct fundraising.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Serve as project manager for complex projects, as assigned. In coordination with other departments/teams, help manage activities related to Grateful Patient & Faculty Engagement proposals, deliverables, and gift officer portfolios.
  • Manage ARCH data entry, extensive data mining and reporting projects.
  • Manage daily and fund level gift reporting and partner with colleagues to oversee and monitor acknowledgments and tribute notifications, as needed.

Administrative

  • Serve as the primary assistant to the Executive Director of Advancement, Grateful Patient and Faculty Engagement and four+ directors/sr. directors including management of calendar, telephone support, filing, scheduling meetings and general organizational support for the team(s).

Customer Service

  • Ensure efficient and productive internal partnerships, build, and maintain strong relationships with administrative support professionals across the Medical School enterprise.
  • Connect prospective donors or third-party organizers with the appropriate director or colleague.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$21.17 - $32.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
