The Red Hat Business Finance team is looking for a Sales Incentive Analyst to join our Global Sales Incentive team. In this role, you will perform support activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administration of sales commission and incentive programs, plans, policies, and quotas. You'll use a combination of analytics, project management, and operational excellence to work with the sales teams across the North America organization to ensure incentive plans are resulting in desired overall sales performance, targets are set timely, our customers are aligned to the process, and understand our toolings. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have excellent partnering, communication, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will reside in the Raleigh area or on the East Coast of the U.S. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and optimization of incentive plans for each sales role in the region while promoting global consistency
  • Assist during the annual quota planning process and apply analytics to ensure optimal coverage models are being used
  • Maintain accurate details of account alignment, credit mapping, and coverage models
  • Review commission payment reports for accuracy and completeness; verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of commission payments as outlined in the plan
  • Work with Senior Sales Leaders by partnering, educating and acting as their sales incentives SME point of contact.
  • Assist in communications and presentation of incentive plans and policies
  • Ensure policy compliance through communications and analytics support
  • Deliver trainings that ensure overall incentive program effectiveness
  • Provide insightful and useful incentive analytics across all management levels that deliver continuous improvement in incentive plan effectiveness
  • Assist with tool enhancements and testing

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of sales operations, analytics, or sales incentive experience
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Good focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning
  • Experience in business analysis including issue tracking, problem resolution, and reporting
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills
  • Experience in data science or analytics and solid spreadsheet skills are a plus

The salary range for this position is $74,900.00 - $119,830.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
