The HR Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to employees, HR Business Partners as well as Deluxe retirees, by addressing their HR-related inquiries and concerns. This role involves handling a high volume of calls and emails, resolving issues related to benefits, payroll, and company policies, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions.

Additionally, the HR Advisor I will support the Human Resources team by contributing to various projects and administrative tasks, enhancing HR Operations efficiency.

Job Functions:

  • Respond to daily HR inquiries through various service channels, providing accurate information about HR policies and procedures in a timely manner. Resolves cases by using appropriate resources and escalating cases as needed. Engages HR Business Partners where appropriate.

  • Deliver administrative assistance to the HR department, including document preparation, record maintenance, and correspondence management.

  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation sessions at various hub locations and virtually, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the organization. Partner up with HR Business Partner to deliver the best onboarding experience.

  • Coordinate and facilitate employee exit process.

  • Assist in the maintenance and management of HR databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy while ensuring confidentiality of information as required by law or by company policies.

  • Manage employee files and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Perform any other duties assigned to support the HR team’s goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications (BQs) 

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED

  • Experience: 1 year prior customer service experience working with confidential data

Preferred Qualifications (PQs) 

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Finance or Business or HR

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in an HR environment with a case management or ticketing system

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
