Job Description

Ultra I&C is seeking an experienced Systems Integrator to join our agile development team. The successful candidate will support our flagship product in a collaborative development and integration environment in Huntsville, AL. This role involves active participation in hardware and software development, integration processes, and quality assurance, including system-level testing. Frequent travel to domestic and potentially international customer sites is required. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for supporting various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in hardware and software development and integration.
  • Conduct system-level testing to ensure quality.
  • Travel to domestic and international customer sites (up to 25%).
  • Provide strong customer service and maintain a customer quality focus.

Required Skills:

  • Active US Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • 10+ years of experience integrating Command and Control (C2) hardware, software, tactical data links, and network components within tactical military systems in an operational environment.
  • Direct operational and integration experience with systems such as ADSI, AFATDS, ADAM Cell, PATRIOT, THAAD, AMDPCS, FBCB2/JBC-P, AMDWS, FAAD, IBCS, C-RAM, and C2BMC.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux) operating systems and their Command Line Interpreters (Command Prompt or PowerShell, bash or other Unix shell).
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
  • Comfort with interconnecting hardware.
  • Understanding of tactical data links (Link-11/16/22 Systems).
  • Knowledge of satellite radios and communications (STJ and JREAP-A).
  • Strong understanding of tactical data networks.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, installing, and configuring tactical C2 systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for computer, radio, and network hardware.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to update and execute test documentation and procedures.
