Description -

This role is responsible for utilizing consultative selling techniques to align the organization’s offerings with the customer requirements leveraging technical expertise. The role gathers detailed requirements, designs customized solutions and collaborates with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from presales to post-sales. The role delivers product demonstrations, and addresses technical concerns, simultaneously improving technical expertise and skills for improved client interactions.

What a Growth Initiative Executive, Enterprise does at HP:

• Develops an understanding of the technical aspects of products or solutions being offered including architecture, integration capabilities, and customization options.
• Gathers detailed technical requirements and supports in designing tailored solutions that address the specific needs of the customer.
• Works closely with various internal teams such as product development, engineering, and support to ensure a smooth transition from the presales phase to the post-sales phase.
• Delivers compelling and technically sound product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers highlighting relevant use cases for the customers.
• Analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of competing products or solutions and provides insights to the sales team to position the organization’s products effectively.
• Addresses any technical objections or concerns raised by customers and provides clear explanations or solutions to overcome the objections.
• Contributes to the creation of technical documentation, such as case studies, and technical specifications, to help customers understand the technical aspects and benefits of the product.
• Communicates insights related to the technical products to showcase the suitability of solutions to the client’s business needs in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Participates in training sessions to continuously improve expertise to effectively address customer inquiries and challenges.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
