Job Summary

This role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within communities and target markets for consumer-based sales, agent recruitment, and agent development. The individual will promote the Ritter/Medicareful brand to various stakeholders, work with sales specialists to support local events, and develop a comprehensive understanding of Medicare and Ancillary product market opportunities. The role requires local, regional, and national travel and continuous development of best practices for the position.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Find opportunities within communities and target markets geographically that provide opportunities for consumer-based sales, agent recruiting or agent development.

  • Promote the Ritter/Medicareful brand to agents, community organizations, the business community, trusted advisors, etc.

  • Work with the Agent Sales Specialists or Medicareful Sales Specialist to identify local, engaged agents to support opportunities such as Medicare 101 educational events in Senior Centers, Libraries, Community Centers, Pharmacies etc.

  • Developing a working knowledge of Medicare, Medicare, Ancillary product market opportunities, and agent sales and marketing best practices.

  • Develop a working knowledge of the sales tools and resources offered through Ritter Insurance Marketing

  • Provide one on one support with agents when requested.

  • Assist with agent follow up for Ritter/Medicareful programs as needed.

  • Research events and associations that would be beneficial for Ritter/Medicareful and agents to attend.

  • Local, regional and national travel may be required.

  • Assist with development of new ideas by attending Ritter Team/Carrier meetings either in person or on-line, as needed.

  • Continue to develop best practices for position, what works and what is no longer needed.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

  • Ability to assist with the development of new ideas by attending Ritter Team/Carrier meetings either in person or online, as needed.

  • Continuous development of best practices for the position, determining what works and what is no longer needed.

  • Ability to handle additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
