What You Will Do:
The Global Value & Access team provides commercialization strategy and reimbursement services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics companies. Our client services range from integrated evidence planning to pricing and local affiliate negotiations to helping our clients transform internal access functions to keep pace with increasing competition and complexity in medicine.
The Executive role is a highly visible and challenging position that draws heavily upon all the analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills essential to effective strategy consulting. This role requires a keen ability to engage clients and lead teams in effectively delivering projects of the highest quality. This is a Practice Leadership role, which requires demonstrating the ability to foster a collaborative culture, provide real-time coaching and mentorship, and motivate a diverse team of consultants across multiple geographies. This role will be integral to building and maintaining client relationships and sourcing global market access business. The ability to assume complete ownership of significant projects while at the same time being a part of and leading a cross-functional team is critical.
Leading Guidehouse’s Global Market Access team, which entails:
Maintaining and expanding global market access relationships,
Actively pursuing business development
Ensuring delivery standards are met across clients and project teams
Leading complex client engagements across the project life cycle (sales, support, and follow-on)
Recruiting, training, and growing our EU-based delivery team
Collaborating with US Access leadership and team members
What You Will Need
A minimum of 10 years of experience in industry or life sciences with at least 7 years in Global Market Access consulting
Recognized subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Integrated evidence planning
Pricing & local affiliate negotiations
Access excellence
Access transformation
Proven track record in account management and ability to independently generate business / sales ($2M+ annually)
History of building / growing teams, with experience managing a P&L preferred
Demonstrated success supervising, coaching and mentoring consulting staff at all levels, which includes ownership and guidance of their career development
Track record of successfully managing large and complex client engagements under high pressure situations
Strong conceptual, qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Ability to plans, direct and coordinate work activities across multiple initiatives
Executive-level written and oral communication and presentation skills
Education Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related course of study
Must be willing and able to travel to client sites across EU (and occasionally the US), up to 30% of the time
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, JD) preferred
