The S&P Global Market Intelligence Client Services team offers experienced professionals an opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with an exceptional corporate culture.

Join a team that develops your financial knowledge, S&P product expertise, problem-solving skills, and professional communication. You will serve on the Client Services team, where you will help clients resolve their issues, interpret our data, and navigate the S&P Global Market Intelligence Platform.

As a member of Client Services, you will serve as a solution generalist for the S&P Global Market Intelligence Platform. Working as a team player is very important in this role. Client Services interacts with many internal teams, including Sales, Content, Product, and Technical Support

What’s in it for you?

The position will require you to be an effective communicator as you will be the client’s first point of contact in the organization.  You will receive on-the-job learning and experiences that covers a comprehensive curriculum focusing on a variety of areas including Capital Markets, Financial Accounting, S&P Global Market Intelligence Platform, S&P Global Market Intelligence Office Plug-in, etc.

Following approximately 1-2 months of training and mentorship, you will begin to support clients over the phone and emails. Beyond learning how to communicate with clients, you will also receive deep-dive training on our data/content, learn about our customer segments, and gain exposure to additional S&P Global platforms. Participants must successfully complete required certification exams along with a rigorous evaluation process that will test your skills and capabilities.

 

This position is built to provide on-the-job training and networking opportunities that will prepare you for a successful career with Market Intelligence. Your progress and career path will be self-driven.

Responsibilities:

The S&P Market Intelligence Client Services team is responsible for the following:

Ensure quality research and support for our clients.

Be client advocates and create the best possible resolution to client inquiries.

Develop strong relationships with clients by providing reliable solutions and recommending ways and means for them to maximize our tools.

Be a channel for client feedback.

Coordinate with our Commercial, Content and Product Management team to resolve client inquiries.

Help our content teams develop accuracy by providing real-time client feedback.

Echo our clients’ ideas and feedback to our Product Management team to make sure that we stay relevant to the market.

What We Are Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred 

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Japanese and English

Detail-oriented and possesses strong critical thinking skills

Exhibits a growth mindset and aptitude for learning new skills

Basic knowledge of finance, the financial market, and our company.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Finance, Economics, Business (not mandatory)

Experience in customer support in the same industry

Adaptable to rapid change

Provides and accepts constructive feedback

Willing to lead projects and stretch assignments
