This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

Role & Responsibilities: 

 

Under the leadership and guidance of P&WC PT6E Prorgrams; 
 

Apply data analytics knowledge and expertise to help monitor the PT6 E-Series engines fleet.  

 

Perform specialized data queries and develop advanced detection algorithms to quickly identify key engine parameters, trends, and behaviors. 

 

Thrives on developing fast and flexible solutions consistent with organization objectives to offer world class proactive support and helping providing benchmark customer experience. 

 

Provide well-organized daily report / alert summary as required. 

 
Qualifications & Education requirements: 

Engineering (preferably in Mechanic or Aerospace) and/or Data Science bachelor’s degree. 

Demonstrated proficiency to perform data analysis: 

• Collects, cleans, and interprets data sets 
• Threshold detection 
• Trending 
• Program and run automated/semi-automated data analytic algorithms 
• Data visualization and reporting 
• Automatic alert system 
• Knowledge of SQL and Python 

Good communication and teamwork skills. 

Proactive and willing to take initiative (self-started), quick learner, self-motivated, strategic analytical thinker. 

This position is within a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with clients, suppliers, or international colleagues.
